I am slipping. Yes, I too have a life outside of the computer, and facebook and ballet classes. I know its hard to believe but I do! I guess I just let this whole last week fall by the wayside in terms of blogging! SO-here it is...

*****Week 17 what is The Pea doin now?********
Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip or onion), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
I really have nothing to report, I was able to get The Pea's bedding today at a consignment sale called Baby Dayz. It happens once a year in my little borrough of town. It is at a HUGE church. I happened
upon the bedding at BRU and it was on clearance I loved it, but couldnt afford it at the time. Plus it was only four pieces. So, I thought well I will find it later. The later it has gotten the harder it is to find. I did find the four pieces at BRU again but it was the show model and it was sort of dirty...I didnt get it, although it was 99.95. Well today, I found EVERY PIECE except for the valance at this consignment sale, for 100.00- this is wall hangings and all, the lamp you name it, its there.

This sale started at 9am and then at 10:30 they took a break until 12, and when they opened back up at noon everything was half off. I carried this bedding around until 10:30 then I set it down, said a little prayer and carted the Princess off to McDee's for a happy meal and to wait until 12. We got back to the church at around 11:30, stood in line (third in a group...I huddled in with some stroller mommies who were absolutely AWESOME and let me hang with them). They had a clear plan of action, they would take their strollers in first as a battering ram and then the walkers (in the group) could go in right behind them so as not to let others cut in line in front of us. ANYWAY, I told the Princess, you better take off running with mommy, if you lose a flip flop we will find it on the way out. I am not stoppin! And, well our plan worked! I got to the bedding where I had left it....and there it was! Actually a volunteer was standing by it and remembered me (from carting it around for over an hour but not buying it) and said its still here! They packed it up to the front for me and I got the ENTIRE SET (let me just say it again) for $50.00!
The set sells for 179.00 and the lamp shade alone is 25.00 with out the lamp. YAY ME.
I am soooooooooooooooooooo thrilled! I got home and just knew I would open it and it would be stained or something but it is like brand new. It still has that fabric sizing feel to it. YAY ME! Now I only have to get the valance, the hamper and the wallpaper border and maybe the matching rug and I am done! Picture is here on the site of my pieces. I have a cherry wood crib so its going to absolutely darling!
