****15 weeks**** Comparing Apples to Oranges

Note, the size reference is from Babycenter.com and the picture is from the Bump.com, both of which I adore, however this time the Babycenter site won out in in terms of information.

Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple some say apple, some say orange!). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl! (Don't be too disappointed if it remains a mystery, though. Nailing down your baby's sex depends on the clarity of the picture and on your baby's position. He or she may be modestly curled up or turned in such a way as to "hide the goods.")

All is well in the land of Pod...I feel really good, infact I haven't felt this good since I found out I was pregnant! I have gained weight and I am really trying to not be concerned about it too much. Its not a TON but, after losing a TON four years ago the fact that I am gaining again (for any reason) is hard to wrap my brain around. I do know its for a worthy cause...and I am almost 200% sure its all in my chest!
The Princess is starting to include the baby in her drawings at school, its pretty funny- they are miniscule at best, the little T-tiniest baby is drawn next to all of her other family members. The baby even has made it into our little game we do everynight (in homage to Pollyanna) we do the glad game...but we changed it up a bit. We pick five things we are glad about. The Princess now has put the Pea just ahead of the turtle that I think hates us and right behind her favorite item of the day. :)
