I am feeling a smidge better after this last appointment. I just keep thinking, seems we get past ONE thing- saw the heartbeat ok-check now we do this test-check now we wait until twelve weeks AAARRG! The good thing is, my next appointment is on or right near my 12th week so I am pretty happy about that!
My doctor says everything looks good, my blood work was well...not so good-I am horribly anemic and he said point blank "your hemoglobin stinks". SO-looks like I might have a battle to keep my iron up even more so than I normally do. Other than that, I am a-ok! The baby measured in at a little over 1/2 inch. I was pleasantly surprised at seeing our little one on the ultra sound monitor again AND BIGGER! This time, The Pea looked like a Teddy Graham (my doctors words...not mine). We could see the head, a leg and two little flipper like arms, and most importantly we could see the heartbeat! The best part of the visit was seeing Mr. Pods reaction to the baby. He is already so in love. Man, I am blessed!
This has been a very good week.
