25th week update

Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture. (I am guessing by the above ONE fact I know is true-if this baby IS growing hair, its brown and its texture is CURLY! )

Next week I go in for my glucose tolerance test. I am NOT looking forward to that at all. I have had the glucose drink in the past-prior to my RNY surgery and I knew it was sweet then. Now-I can not even finish a can of Coke with out getting sick, I am sure the 50 grams of sugar they want me to drink in 5 minutes will probably be the near death of me for a few hours after the test. I have assured my bosses that if I can come in, I will but my female boss has assured me that its likely that I will not want to come in. ;) I MIGHT just take her up on that!

Tomorrow I am so excited, we (meaning Mr. Pod and his mum) are going to get the wallpaper border up in the baby room. Then, we can get the furniture together and be done with it for a while. Next task before the baby comes is to paint the Princesses room. We moved her room around and she loves it, but she wants paint. SO...paint we will!

The orange one is bad, the red one isn't too terrible. (I had to do it twice because the screening office "missed" my window). :) Good luck, Lady!!
