20 week ultrasound pictures....and update of sorts

I am not feeling 100% so I am not really going to do much typing but I wanted to put the pictures up here and give a brief rundown of my appointment. We took the Princess to this appointment so she could see her sibling, and hear the heartbeat. That was fun for about FIVE minutes, then after she got bored and tried to touch EVERYTHING in the room it got old REALLY FAST. Lesson learned...yes she is interested in hearing and seeing the baby..but not so much in spending 30 minutes in one room-in the dark!

The appointment went fine, my NT test came back fine-no worries. Baby is measuring 21 weeks...due date update now February 17th. Lets see, I gained 3lbs they were happy about that. Everything was great. I got my flu shot so I am safe now (sore arm for a bit but it was fine!). The heartbeat was 143-the baby is 15cm long. We STILL dont know the sex, dont want to know (well I do a little). I think I can stick it out for FOUR MORE MONTHS! The tech said she saw and knew the sex, and then she would try to confuse us by saying he, she, they, the baby....UGH!! She would tell us to turn our heads away when she needed to do the US in the "area" and we would but if we would try to peek she would remove the wand from my belly. So unfair! haha.

We got some great US pictures, the first one- the baby was sucking its thumb-very sweet. I was a thumb sucker, Mr. Pod was a finger sucker. So it hit close to home for both of us. I know thats typical of babies, but this was OUR baby doing it. :)

I have a cold-I cant breathe and I am MISERABLE today. So- here are your pictures... :) Enjoy. If you see any thing gender wise in these...please feel free to let me know your thoughts! I still say boy Mr. Pod says girl. The Princess says now she hopes the baby is a boy so she doesnt have to share her toys!
