I like the idea that Kahla used,

So- they do say that copying is the most sincere form of flattery right?? Kahla I want to make it officially known, I am going to take your week by week idea- I like the idea of being able to track growth in terms of inanimate objects. So, I hope you dont mind....!

There was one pea in one pod; the pea was green and the pod was green, and so they believed that the whole world was green-and that was absolutely right! The pod grew and the pea grew; they adjusted themselves to their surroundings, sitting straight in a row. The sun shone outside and warmed the pod; the rain made it clear and clean. It was nice and cozy inside, bright in the daytime and dark at night, just as it should be; and the pea and the pod became larger, and more and more thoughtful, as they sat there, for surely there was something they must do.
